bose replacements
I blew one of my front speakers, and was able to find a replacement on EBay for about 20 bucks.
If you're looking for a quick fix, the front speakers from a Nissan 300ZX, or Maxima with Bose option are the same shape/size/mounting holes. Not sure about the rear deck speakers. The replacement I found sounds fine (as good as a bose can sound), and I didn't have to pay the ridiculous 125+ bucks for a new Bose/Audi speaker.

Won't AofA warranty at least the first blown set? I have a set of MB Qs laying around if interested
I have forgotten the call number, but they are a 6.5", 4", and 1"(tweeter) with a comptetion clear plexiglass crossover. I also have another set of their seperates 218.03 (something close to it) that are 6.5" and a 1" with another set of competition crossovers.
I pulled them out of my A4 and not got around to doing a new set up in the S4. If you know what the set is then you know that they don't just drop in. But most speakers on the market won't.
Running the 4" is optional as I have a 3rd set of crossovers that will run without it. I'm letting the set go for a smokin price, near new quality, and I'll guarantee them to work.

What are the dimensions of the front speaker housings. Depending on the price..
I am definently interested in the Q's. I have them in my 4Runner (which i use for SPL Drag DB's). However I dont know the dimensions of all of our housings (Front, Rear). And do we have 6 or eight speakers (including tweeters); I haven't got around to sitting in the back of my car yet.

Let's see.........
I believe the fronts are 1" and a 5.25" I put my 6.5" in there and it sounded fine. There is another little tweeter looking thing on the driver side door. Not sure what it does.
The rear doors have what look to be another set of 4.5"-5.25".. Sorry for being vague on the size but the housings are square and awkward. Probably the same as the front ones.
ON the rear deck you have 2 6.5" coax speakers. They are the base of the car.
I just had a sale fall though on them, he went with an exhaust instead :I and so here they sit. $350 and if you know what they are then you know that the price is kick ***. I spent $1K on the whole set. Just need to make room.
