I dont know why the hell I was getting a Oil filter at pepbois...but anyway, Its on my car right now with 5-50w syntec. I remember reading a article about only to use OEM filters. but should I take it off, how big of a deal is it really, why not to use Suregrip filters?

Default I personally don't believe it's that big of a deal. As long as it's quality filter you are fine.

I like the Mobile 1 filters.

Others may tell you different.

Default IIRC Fram uses carboard end caps on the filter element.

Wouldn't want a filter to collapse on the 2.7T. Mobil 1 filter is probably the best aftermarket oil filter, but expensive.

Default Fram filters suck in a big way. The only thing that Allied Signal is good at is putting big

paychecks in their executive's pockets! If it makes you feel any better, the profit margin is quite high on those filters. I would get it off MY S4 in a hurry. Good luck!
