Default i would put 10k in the S4 and still have

the best car under $ 65k IMO .
power, class, quality... to me s4 2.7T has no equal as combo $/quality/power/looks
next one to consider would be a P-car gt3 , 911T or 996 TT. but these are $$$

Default I've driven 2 Sti's that are not like what he described

aside from the interior and the hood flex
I thought it was awesome

power comes on by 2K rpm, just like the S4
and it handled much better than a stock S4

When I owned the S4, that was true. Now that I don't, the grass really is greener over here.

Default The S4 is a sweet car..

but Ive seen too many people have problems with them which is why Id never get one.. I came real close, drove my buddys stage 2 (stasis coilovers 700front 800rear) for about 2 hours on every possible road know to man but got out of the car yearning for more feedback.. The steering feedback was just non existent, the seating position all wrong, and the pedals were not right for me.. I love the feedback that I get from my little slot car and need that until Im ready to get a lexus..

The S4 is a great car, but I for one need more from a car or in some cases.. less <weight>
