the morning if you don't engage it very slowly until the fluid gets warmed up a bit. It never did this with the OEM fluid. What about the Redline makes this happen? It's the MT-90 fluid.

Default just double clutch, until the tranny warms up..2nd is probably a bit notchy as

well. The MT90 is thicker than OEM/MTL which are both 70w80 thus the annoyance for better protection with 90w on a warmed up tranny

Default First I've heard of this...

Some folks (pajohn) have had issues with amsoil, but I haven't heard of any issues with redline. Hmmm.........

Default I mean first gear grinds when I get into it before I start driving. I never go into

first unless I'm completely stopped.

Default I switched to Redline over the summer and haven't noticed any cold weather issues...

Though it hasn't been that cold yet here (only down into the 30s & 40s).

I have a toy guy, but this grinding is obviously the synchros being stubborn.

Default Mobil1 here, same issues.....

Same thing for years here. Switched to Mobil 1 gear oil. Immediately noticed better gas mileage and smoother shifter, but in winter months I have to warm up the car before driving to prevent the 1-2 shift grind.
