the morning if you don't engage it very slowly until the fluid gets warmed up a bit. It never did this with the OEM fluid. What about the Redline makes this happen? It's the MT-90 fluid.

well. The MT90 is thicker than OEM/MTL which are both 70w80 thus the annoyance for better protection with 90w on a warmed up tranny

Same thing for years here. Switched to Mobil 1 gear oil. Immediately noticed better gas mileage and smoother shifter, but in winter months I have to warm up the car before driving to prevent the 1-2 shift grind.
