Default You can drill it out and insert a Helicoil in there...

Basically, a helicoil (or threaded insert) replaces the stripped threads with new ones. Next time, you should definately use a torque wrench.

Not sure which bolt it is, but it should be a 6mm thread.

Default :/ next time put a real pic there of the eventual problem ... not a f-in lure

i hate that.
jack@s !
yes you can tap and die that to the next size bigger .. take the stock bolt with you and go to a sears hardware store and find the next size bigger (even if it's longer you can just cut it to the length u need) . to tap and die it corrctly i'd pull the mani out and do it right (DO NOT RUSH) , as you drill keep the shop-vac on so it will suck up all the metal shavings so they don't go in the motor ( u can also tape up well the holes too). all this should be easy .

Default It will also be stronger than the aluminum ever was.

It's the same solution as for a sparkplug thread repair; you can use a Helicoil kit your manifold bolts.

I just did my auxiliary pump, so I empathize with having to take it all apart again, at least it's easier this time... unless you reinstalled using factory crimp-on hoseclamps.

Good luck.
