I completely forgot to mention this in my posts about the PCA drivers school up at Mt Tremblant.
When we were doing the track walk the day before the event were were noticing how great the new track looked, everything was so well paved, the runoffs were so nice the gravel traps were leveled....
and the tire walls were the nicest tire walls you have ever seen in your life.
Usually tire walls are bald randomly sized corded tires, but these were pristine,
they had tread,
hell they looked *new*,
hell some of them *were* new.....
they still had *stickers* on them...
they were all the same size,
and they were *everywhere*.
At some point the tire wall came withing 20 feet of the track so we wandered over to see what the deal with the tires was, and there on the side of the tires was the answer...
Firestone Dueler AT, over and over and over....
