Default I got 8 different codes today, but it drives OK.

I am having a ton of problems with my Audi. It still drives OK but I am so sick of that check engine light. I checked my codes today and here is what I got. I got 8 different codes. I did a hard and soft reset and they all came back. I had several things replaced last month. All spark plugs, all coil packs, both ignition control modules, air filter, and the coolant sensor. I also had my timing belt and my clutch and flywheel replaced 4 months ago.

16684 - Random Misfire Detected - Any Cylinder
16689 - Cylinder #5 - Misfire Detected
16688 - Cylinder #4 - Misfire Detected
18010 - Power Supply (B+) Terminal 30 - Low Voltage
16839 - Evaporative Emission Control System - Leak Detected (gross leak)
16690 - Cylinder #6 - Misfire Detected
16825 - Evaporative Emission Control System - Incorrect Purge Flow
16815 - ?????????

Thanks for the help.

Default Random misfires are representative of a systemic issue

I would do a thorough pressure and smoke test and insure that there are no leaks. Did the misfire issues start after your timing belt was done? It's possible its off a tooth or two. It's also possible that evap leak is causing the misfires. Verify that all of the check valves and the electronic purge valve in the evap system are operating properly (green valves on pass side of engine bay & black solenoid).

Terminal 30 is unswitched power. I would check your battery. If that's not the problem, I would check that the voltage regulator is working properly. This is *another* possible cause for your misfires. The injectors actually account for system voltage when they calculate how much they must open, but if its too low its possible you're not getting consistent spark.

Please also show us block 032 (do not reset fault codes before pulling these values)

Start with that ;-)

Default 16815 - Warm Up Catalyst: Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold

This could be a result of a crapload of misfires on bank 2, or possibly a hint at a dying O2 sensor. Please also log block 031 at WOT in 3rd gear.

Oh, and please list your mods. That's always very helpful.

Default Normally terminal 30 is result of ECU removal or battery dissconnect.

I get that code everytime I swap ECU's.

Default "I did a hard and soft reset and they all came back"

Ok, I read that as he checked after just clearing codes. But yeah, if he removed the ECU and checked codes again then he'd get a power supply code.

Default "Hard and soft reset" is not necessary the same as clearing codes. If he cleared his codes and then

checked DTC's, he should state as such.

Default I used to get warm-up cat codes intermittantly with my 200 cell cats in the winter time. They take

longer to heat up I think. I am also curious how come he doesn't know what this code is, since Ross-Tech VAG cleary spells this out. Is this an Ebay VAG?

Same here. Both bank 1 and 2 when it's bitter cold.

Default Is that software compatible with the S-Flow?

Aftermarket intakes screw with MAF readings and need to be accounted for.
