While leaving the post office yesterday I noticed a red shelby gt500 in the parking lot across the street. I drove over there and asked the guy if I could take a quick look at it.
He was a very nice older guy and said he drives it every day. According to him, many of those cars get bought and stuck in garages.
The car was red with two white stripes. The hood vents look great and I'd love to have the exact same type on my S4 to extract engine bay heat. The car has brembo front brakes and a huge oval intake hose with two throttle body butterflies. I'm not sure it's for me but I'm very impressed that ford put many of the extra performance features on that car. He said it has the same engine as the ford gt?? The cylinder head has a small label plate with the assembler's signature etched into it.

The Porsche M64 engine is aluminium. It splits along the crankshaft line. Aircraft engines are similar.
Aluminium is weaker by volume but stronger by weight.
So stop dizzing aluminium! :-p

if it's designed for a certain level of torque and you double it.. it makes you wonder when it will crack. I guess it depends on how much the thing was overdesigned to start with. In your case I think you might be OK since audi seems to overbuild everything.

While detailing my car yesterday, I had the chance to reflect on the other car in our stable ---->
