DAMN! i near crapped myself when late last night in Montgomery CTY PA....i hit a red light and this guy in a Ford SVT Lightening gets next to me. i was tired after work and volleyball and i thought nothing of it. the light turned green and I accelerated like normal (faster than most other cars) but not pushing her or anything....
the Ford was right next to me. then i was shifting to 2nd @ 20 MPH and i heard this wooshing sound come from his truck like insane turbos or nitro....after that sound all his rear wheels SPUN and he blasted off! by the time i knew what the hell was going on..i blasted her in 2nd gear to about 5,800 rpms and up to 3rd gear...
i couldn't catch up! i mean he only had a little more power once we were both steppin on the gas but still....he HAD ME!...once we hit 90MPH in a 45 zone...we both hit brakes and he gave a me a little honk to say HAHA!
i don't know what the **** was in that thing but i would guess it is pullin 5.4 0-60 times....
anyone know about this truck christ!

though you actually should have been really close IF you had been prepared...stock they're high 13s and modded they go down from there.
Ming BAAARELY lost to one at Carlsbad in his A6, he ran 14.0 and the Lightning ran 13.8 but was .1 behind at the start.

so they are tricky. but you should have taken him. i have raced two with my last s4 with just a dorito and pulled on them. don't shift so early. you are still making good boost approaching 7000. i shift a touch before red line.

If that was a SVT lighting, that would be the one truck i wouldn't mess with. Its has 380 Hp and 450 torque and i think it does 0-60 in high 4s from what i've read if i can recall. That truck is able to race with corvettes and i mean the Z06s....

Since the 355 was not an F1 (paddle shift.. and that's REAL F1, not that BS 1S300 tip on the wheel that they're claiming is "F1 style shifting".. please)
They didn't include the 360 (400HP out of the box).
The didn't include the 550 Maranello, or the F50. but what do you expect from people who think Puss-stangs or Transcarmaro's are cool.
Yes, I am a tifosi, and I don't find it one bit surprising that Ferrari of North America wouldn't give them a car to test. I wouldn't let them test my Audi, buch of mezzafenooks.

Trust me. If not from a dead stop, they will toast an S4 from 20-30mph roll. Too many cubic inches, not to mention the supercharger. I've watched bone stock ones run 13.9s, plus or minus a tenth.
Also if you're going to race, you better start shift around 6500.....5800 is too low!
