I HATE MISS Shifting!!!
I miss shifted 2nd to 3rd..
and now the 2nd gear is 'mooshy'..and hard to get in and out of gear...
The rest of the gears seem to be fine...
I dont know if it's syncro..
but I have had same experience couple times.... after driving week or more.. it gets back to normal.. but I dont know wtf is wrong with this gear... I am thinking that it might be linkage not the actual gear..
any have imformation??

mushroomed shift fork maybe. dont force your gears man. i apply light pressure when putting into
gear and i let the synchro 'suck' it into gear, you end up with a fast shift and no broken parts.
at least you didnt get it halfway engaged and romp it.

It's a known issue - here is a link to a good explanation. It will work itself out over time....
....as the "burr" mentioned in the link gets worn back down.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1207000.phtml</a

I actually discovered recently that if you 'pre-load' the shift lever slightly before pushing in the
clutch, the gearchange is very fast, and very smooth. The syncros do seem to 'suck' the gearbox ito the next gear.

I had a rough time getting into 2nd when i first bought my car used. I was very light and careful...
with my shifts for a while and the problem seemed to go away. As mjtaylor said below let the gearbox suck the gear in don't force it. hopefully it will work itself out.
