The APR is a fine chip and depending on year of car, is probably all one would need. If you need every ounce of power then the GIAC is the chip to bring to a fight.
In terms of technology there is NOTHING that can touch the EMCS as of right now. It's solid technology, the entire APR ECU situation is better in terms of how the chip is placed on the board (not using risers etc.etc) and the EMCS functionality being at your fingertip (AC stalk) is way ahead of anyone else.
IF APR was as powerful as GIAC on 91 octane and was a bit more extreme on the race version, the APR would be the ECU to own.
But as it is, if you need every ounce it's the X/XR, but you give up some technology including being able to flash your ECU anytime you want.
Selling it? I have a fully equipped APR "M" for sale.

I've had APR, MTM, and ABT. GIAC is the one chip I would not run at this point in time:
1. Boost levels are out of the K03's efficiency range (All that say not, prove me wrong); especially if you are at any kind of altitude.
2. Socketed chips are known to fail and have on this board.
3. Why run a chip that is so rough?
IMO...There is not a large enough power gain to warrant changing to GIAC. I really need to run my friend, 91 vs. 91, with the GIAC to see the difference. I ran him with 100 octane program and walked him pretty good.
There is one thing I don't like about the APR though. I'm in Denver so need to run 93 octane to keep the car running well (91 octane w/ ethanol runs like crap in my car). This means mixing 91 and 105 octane. I think this is the reason so many people thought the older versions of APR were weak. APR has always run strong with the proper fuel of course.
Always up to you...
