He is (or was) a poster on this board fairly regularly, and I purchased a ProDiag set up from him (Palm, cable, software). I got a package containing these items. Immediately I was annoyed because shipping took more than 2 weeks, and there was no stylus with the palm. No big deal, I thought.
I fire up the palm and hook it up to the car, only to see that the software is unregistered. Annoyed, I email him. He is not helpful, though after 5 or so emails he sends me registration keys... which do not work.
Convientely he is unavailable for a period of time, enough for 45 days to elapse so I cannot file a complaint through PayPal. He is no longer responding to emails (magicseller@aol.com is the address).
I have an ancient palm with useless software on it now, and I am out a good bit of cash. I suggest that no one else deals with him, or that if you know him to tell him he sucks at life. I have been MORE than patient with him, and have done everything possible from my end, including contacting ShadeTreeSoftware. He has done nothing but delay and make excuses about being busy.
I am indescribably disappointed, and I hope no one else has to struggle with him.

And I have been very careful about who I have sold stuff to here via mail.
I believe the registration key codes are attached to the serial number of the correct Palm, so he switched Palms on you for some odd reason. The correct one probably died and he sent you an older one he had lying around, thinking the key codes would work.
Not that it matters now, but I have an extra stylus for a Palm m515 (for my Prodiag) if you want one, no charge.
