the s4 o2 has a 4 wire, 2 are ground, the vw o2 has 3 wires, 1 is ground, does the wires from both o2s match up or is there a specific way to wire them, i know its only 2 wires but im not a gambler...

next bank 1 is running lean and have multiple cylinder missfires, what could cause this, i know its not the following MAF, 02s, and spark plugs... anybody have this problem?

bad coilpack could be causing missfires.

If it's a specific cylinder, try switching coilpacks to see if you can isolate the misfires.

If you are using the correct VW sensor, it has 4 wires.
