Default i have a lot of slop in my shifter. im wondering if its normal. when in neutral, you can move the

shifter and it has a lot of 'dead play'. normally when you move the shifter in neutral, it returns back to its centered postion when you release it. well, mine does that, but theres about half an inch side to side where i can move the shifter and it doesnt return to the center. i can tilt it left or right. and, when im in gear i have a lot of movement too. i can make small circles with the shifter while in gear. does my shifter just need to be adjusted or what? TIA

Default It's hard to tell without feeling it in person. Can you get a local to try it out?

What feels sloppy to you might feel normal to someone else.
