Default I have a magic clutch!

How is it that my worn throw-out bearing can plague me night and day with a pestering "WOOOOOOOR" sound at every stoplight start, and then magically quiet down the second the car rolls into the dealership? Anyone have any hints on how to re-create this problem for the dealer? Could it be dependant on temperature or road conditions? This worn bearing is my key to a free clutch install...rrrr.

Default

maybe you should hold the clutch in to heat the throwout bearing up?

Default Try driving like a nOOb. Seriously.

If you rev it up sarcastically, like it's your first time on a clutch, then engage, you'll work the throw out bearing much more.

You might be dealing with a bad pilot bearing as well. Try revving between shifts, and engaging a little quicker, to see if you get a little squeal right before full engagement. Also, it should make more noise when it's cold, as in the engine hasn't warmed up yet.
