I haven't posted much over the last year, but I must vent. When is Audi going to pull their
head out ? Seeing what BMW is doing with the 335i and soon the 135i, it kills me that Audi, with all it's turbo charging experience, is not countering with 6 cylinder turbo charged powerplant. Plus I hear we are not getting the S3 now, which likely would have been underpowered anyway IMO.

Next turbo on the way I believe is the 2.5 5cyl turbo to go in the Audi TT-RS
that should be good for 350hp IIRC .. and of course the monster RS6 V10 twin turbo. I would love to see some type of twin turbo motor go in the A5\S5\RS5 but I dont think thats on the horizon. It was rumored for the RS5, but likely will just get the V8 out of the RS4 .. although I'd really like to be proven wrong.
If anything, the turbodiesels show some promising power. I dont think we'll be getting any in the A5 over here in the states, at least not for a while.

Start convincing us Americans to be such stupid consumers and we might get some good **** like that
DUALCHARGER - but I've always wanted a TT 6 cyl. and cant afford a 911 so I'm real happy w/ my S4 right now.

audi needed to take time off to develop more efficient turbo cars...
the bimmer is rated for 29mpg highway, which as far as my experience with BMWs is that they're better at faster speeds than NHTSA tests them, so for example my mother's 325i gets about 32 highway, rated for 28 I think. She gets 24 mixed, that is quite good. My car? Heh, 22 tops on the highway, even when stock. Quite teh suck.
