Default I hear a "humming" noise coming from the rear of the car at speeds higher than 55, if I turn to the

left (putting the weight of the car on the right), the noise goes away, but as soon as I straighten out it comes back. Is this a bad wheel bearing? What can it be? This happened after I put on my snow tires and rims.

Default Also, the humming sounds similar to an exhaust drone and the noise doesn't go away until I

turn to the left. If I turn to the right, the humming sound remains.

Default Ok, just like I thought...wheel bearing it is. If the noise goes away when I turn left, does that

mean it's the side with the load (right side) is the one that's bad?

Default Yeah.

But if you have not replaced the other in a while it will probably go soon too.

Default I had the same problem and it wasn't the bearing..................

Bent rim and only made noise when going straight or to the left at speed. Most likely a bearing but just saying no one can say what it is 100% over the internet.

Default It could be the bearing or something else. Replaced both rear bearings but they each

made noise constantly when they were going bad. I didn't have to turn left or right or accelerate or break - it was the constant grinding/humming noise.

Default 2 years ago when i swapped the winters in (235 width), i started hearing the humming noises...

while turning. Could reproduce it at the dealer too. Ended up getting the rear wheel bearings replaced....noise wouldn't go away. Then it was noted that the slightly wider winter tires were rubbing on the suspension uprights, causing the noise. Nice polished sections on both uprights.

Not your symptoms, but might help someone else.
