I hear a deep pulsating, throbbing sound only when cruising in 4th gear, anyone know what it may be?

Default hey i get that too..usually when i'm coasting in 4th..
if i put my hand on the shifter i can feel it, like a pulsating vibration but its not like rattle your teeth bad.. just enough that i can feel it and it bugs me

it could be crapped out engine mount(s).

But why is it specific to 4th gear only?

thats why i said engine mounts...at that rpm/gear there could be a resonance

---> (periodic resonance) between a vibration of the drive train (dying hanger bearing) and the exhaust suspension (loose).
