I just put on the APR bi pipe and now my fan is ticking on the outside of it

I just put on the APR bi pipe and now my fan is ticking on the outside of it
What gives? I thought this was supposed to fit with no problems? Course - I should probably call APR first before complaining about it here.

Fan has only a few mm of clearance on my 2001.5
But, I was only able to get one of the two outside bolts to fit in. One of the holes just doesn't line up. Were you able to get those two bolts in? (The three throttle body bolts went in fine.)
