I just reeled in a new-looking 350Z
I just came back from Wendy's and had my first real run from a stoplight. Usually there's alot of traffic around here making it unsafe to race. I turned onto a very straight road (with Wendy's drink in hand) and was driving "casually" in the right lane, several car lengths ahead of a new looking 350ZX in the left lane.
Damn, I knew it would be a great time for a stoplight run because there were no other cars around. The next light ahead was still green so I eased off of the gas.. praying the light would turn red. The 350 was coming up beside me by that time and the light finally turned red.
The passenger was looking over at my wheels but I didn't know if they wanted to run. I went ahead and put the drink in the cup holder, just in case I was getting ready to put the window down but apparently the stop light was in night timing mode. The light turned green faster than normal so I took off easy in first gear. The next thing I know, the 350 jumps ahead with his rear bumper at about my front bumper..
That's when I hit 2nd gear and nailed it! They should've known something wasn't "as it seems" just by the evil smile on my face while sitting at the light It was fun.

running 93 octane isn't so bad after all:)
I filled with 93 this week to troubleshoot a rough/slow starting problem. Now that I know it's not a real problem I'll go back w/100..

I thought you already new that was because of the 100 oc? Anyway I went to fill up at that station
that I thought had the 100 octane last night. Turned out to be 110 leaded! Needless to say I was dissappointed and almost thought about coming down your way.

well, it got worse this week starting the car to leave work
Don't come down here too fast. Sunoco jacked the price up from $2.99 to $3.99 in one week. A guy at work said a union76 somewhere near that sunoco also has it. Supposedly, it's across the street from a bowling alley.
