damn... I'm one of your friends. My StopTechs are off of the car because the pad abutment plates are
warped so badly that I can't get brand new thickness pads into the calipers. If they can't be replaced, I don't know what I'm going to do... I hate being back with stock brakes.

Matt still has to ship me a Rotor, it has been over 5 weeks they are nice
but they are slow on reair parts, I figure dout that Centric owens them know and the quality on teh OEM replacemnt slotted rotors suxs, am thinking about going back to stocl ones with good pads, I would neve rget there BBK after see this one yours, even is you wash the salt off in the winter they still ar egoing to go to hell in a hand basket

holy s#!+, they still haven't sent your replacements yet?! Try DBA rotors if you want something a
bit better than stock and is actually engineered w/ some quality and their own designs...

lol, i never saw that part, hahahaha..."best materials available"...to them maybe but I'm sure
other companies "real" companies get better materials and they actually know how to process them into a quality product. Even if stoptech got exact same raw materials, they would not be able to make an equivalent product IMO.

I actually had StopTech rotors on order because I was in an emergency situation and needed them
quick. They said they would get them to me same day but after a week, they hadn't even processed the order. I went aginst my own judgment by ordering them based on their false promises and attractive price (hype) but ended up ordering the DBA's a week later (luckily I got another car to use) and they still arrived before the stoptechs would have. I'm very happy w/ the DBA's and will stick w/ them but most likely I'll have a BBK by the time I need to replace.

haha FYI i fwded this post to stoptech/zeck. i was told i already made this post last year
i said "that was for that set of rotors, this is for a new set" LOL... of course i reused the old pic - ill make a new post showing 6 cracked rotors and 4 cracked caliper brackets ...
