I know mark is holding some crazy power with his but mine just isn't cutting it @ stg2++. Any more HP and I think a stronger clutch is in order. IMHO. Drivabiity wise it is stock though.

Rs4 PP with a stock S4 disc holds fine for me even on a sticky strip on 104 octane.
But I must concede that all RS4 clutches may not be equal.
I remember it slipping once after I had the engine out for a few weeks. I'm pretty sure some oil got in there and then burned off.
I can make it slip by launching at too high an rpm and not releasing it aggressively enough.
IMO you want the weakest clutch that will hold your power to keep from damaging driveline parts.

I respectfully disagree, but hope it works out for you.
RS4 is a highway cruiser, not torque monster. They obviously took this into consideration when choosing a clutch for that car. Modified S4s have way more torque than the RS4. I've seen/heard more than a couple modified S4s having RS4 clutches slip on hard shift. I've seen/heard even more than that slipping on launches.
Dismiss Marc. I don't believe most of anything he says to be honest.

Well, the Audi engineers also designed the S4 clutch for 250hp, and it can hold significantly more.
I'm not going to be launching my car anyway, and I don't have hybrids, so I won't be one of those torque monsters anyway. You may be right, but I think in general the RS4 clutch is capable of handling the power from a typical stage 3 car.
