over chipped ecu? Any pros/cons to either of them? I'm just curious what would currently be a better route to take when considering switching to giac...

Problem with that is tweaking. Everytime you swap you have to retweak. You can't
setup each program the way you want and have it sets. Once you switch it changes all the defaults. I thought about it too for when I travel to areas of the country with no 94 or 93, but it doesn't work that way.

WTF are you talking about? The tweaks are in the ECU not a specific program!?
You should be able to switch programs and keep exact same tweaks as I understand it. Same thing with taking an ECU out of one car and putting it in another, same tweaks are still on it unless you reset to defaults.
But I don't see the need for homebrew people to switch programs to begin with. Add a little timing when you want to run 100 octane and you're all set.

Well for someone like me that travels a lot. I am talking about when
I run XR here with the 94 octane. I am saying when I travel south where its 91 yeah I can switch to normal X. Then when I come back I can switch to XR then I would have to lemmi the changes to what they were before.

So you're talking about chipped, not flashloaded? Hmm, odd response to his post in that case...
You make it sound like the problem with switching to flashloader is the swapping programs on the same ECU and then having to retweak?

There is nothing wrong with the Flashloader at all. For those like
you and I who don't use the basic X chip settings would have issues when going back and forth because. Well not issue, but PITA.
