I looked in the manual but didn't see anything about required warmup & cooldowns.....

I need to read the manual cover to cover; it makes sense it would mention it somewhere.
When I testdrove an S4 a few weeks ago, I asked about cool downs and he pretty much scoffed "you don't need to do that." I just sorta smiled, not saying anything. I knew better than THAT.
