I really do. It spoils you.
I test drove a 2000 Saab Viggen today. Any car over 200 hp should NOT be FWD. 1st gear was useless. 2nd gear would spin and yank the wheel out of your hands all the way to 60 mph. Watch the video at the bottom for proof. I went through first at half throttle and the put it down in 2nd. Yes, I held the wheel with one hand for added effect, but I was not exaggerating. It was very difficult to put power down out of corners even with its LSD.
However, it is a very pretty car IMO. The color is very Nogaroish. It has some of the coolest OEM wheels ever. The slotted rotors look tough. It's a hatch, so it's super versatile. I bet a chip would do wonders too.
On to the price. This car was a 2000 in very good condition with 38k miles. When purchased new, it was within an eyelash of an S4. They wanted less than $20k at the stealership. :-O More proof that our cars are doing better than we think.

=)
Yeah, Saab's are quirky little cars, not a bahn cruiser like the S4 is, but nice in their own right. Used to have a 900SE droptop, nice cruising car, but it torque steered and understeered all over the place, in addition to the cowl shake because it was a convertible.
Chicks dig it, though.

I know what you are saying though. Your driving gets sloppy when you can plant it and not worry about what the tires are going to do.
I used to have a modded Ford Probe GT with close to 200 hp and it didn't torque steer half as bad as the Saab.

the exterior styling is the best saab has ever had, but that might not say much. interior wasn;t spectacular but it was european which beats most domestic interiors anyday. and i agree about the wheels and color, it was easily recognizable as a suped up model of the 9-3.
nice write up dood![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I have the non viggen 9-3 right now and I'm looking for an S4. It's a quick car and the trunk is huge. I've been considering moving up to a viggen, but I like the s4 a whole lot. There is a fairly inexpensive kit that can eliminate alot of the torque steer, it's called the viggen rescue kit and most viggen owners are packing them. The viggen isn't a car that can take off from the line... even my car at 210hp can't keep the tires on the road in first and second, but it the place where they are fun is from 60-100... I've seen viggens keeping pace with M3s and C5s in that range.
