Default I miss my car...

It's floating somewhere out in the middle of the Atlantic right now. My VW Golf V company car hasn't arrived yet, so my company has given me a fully loaded C class Mercedes and a gas card to tie me over. :-)

I must say that commuting to work at 140-150 mph has been fun so far. I can't wait for the S4 to get here.

Default it's all fun at those speeds until you blow a tire or hit furry creatures....

then things can tend to go very wrong, very quickly.

be safe bro. i've driven extensively on the German bahns at excessive speeds and seen and heard of some nasty stuff.

Default Of course sir. The risks are always assumed...

but the fact is that the motorways and cars are better designed for it. Their fatality statistics parallel ours so the highways are safe. I've driven over the quite a bit to so it's not like I'm some n00b going bonkers. :-)

With that said, how many here could really practice self restraint. hehehe

Thanks! I will look into it for you. I'm somewhat busy, so I can't promise anything right away.

Default <thread hijack>Tim, the Pittsburgh crew is coming out this weekend

We are doing installs all weekend long. FMIC, Intake, Front Sway bar and Exhaust.
If you want to pass by, give me a call. The install is happening at Memed's place.

Default Also be very aware of US govt. plated cars. In the Autobahn context

some of them produce some of the worse driving you will ever see. Issues such as inability to judge closing speeds, inability to merge correctly and crappy lane discipline rear their ugly heads.(magnified at Autobahn speeds)
