was thinking if I should get an upgraded clutch installed now so it will be broken in for stage 3. Has anyone installed there own clutch or is it better to have someone else install it, (I don't have any experience installing a clutch)
Just looking for some advise.

...personally, I don't think I'd tackle the clutch unless...
1) You have access to a lift
2) You have a Bentley manual
3) You have a friend helping you that has installed a clutch<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1465842.phtml">DIY Clutch Install Question further down the page</a></li></ul>

at that time would be almost free depending on how your installer is putting in the KO4s....
Just my $0.02 - why pay double labor?
I know it seems hard to keep it "under control" for 500miles - but if you really cannot wait to launch, then just drive 500miles or so, stop and go through city street over the first few days you have your new clutch and KO4s and then you'll be good to go.
If money is NO issue, then I guess go for the clutch early, just seems you might be thorwing away some $$ for no reason other than having the ability to drive like a maniac the day you get your stage III.
