I was driving down to Miami Beach last night and started to follow the porsche around town. Then when we got to the freeway he was infront of me. There was a lot of traffic. All I see is smoke come out of his car and he started to puul. So I downshifted to third at around 40-50 and was on his ***. He changed to the next lane but he was dipping. He got about about 1 car length ahaed of me but I was still hanging. Remember he was already ahead of me. I got 150MPH. then we had to stop. We got of the freeway and went back to town. We were at the light and he gave the thumbs up. He asked what the hell I had done to my car. and that was it.

Along with a 2.7t A6, Team Audi actually won (I think cause the other cars were in convoy, and weren't actually racing...but that's ok). They peeled off for 395 to the beach and that was that, but we had a good run at the beginning of 95...

It sounds like there was traffic and the Porsche was ahead and not maxing his capabilities. The Porsche seems to have just been impressed with our S4 friend's ability to keep pace with him to that level.
Hell, I was impressed by a new Volvo the other day because it managed to keep up with me from a light. I was just driving casually, though, not exactly redlining, and was surprised when this car three lanes over was staying close. So I glance over and notice it was, amazinginly enough, a Volvo. What is Volvo doing making sports sedans, anyway?![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
At 198 mph, I'd still take the 911 Turbo over either an S4 or a Volvo.![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Oh, and btw, Dvs, yes, it matters if you're stock or not. A stock S4 can't even pull 150 mph - its speed is electronically limited to 142.
