I mean seriously...those valves sticking open are no joke, what effect is THAT going to have on the life of your turbos compared to the problem that it was SUPPOSED to fix (POSSIBLE tear in the diaphragm?).
I have no problem bashing ANYONE who sold the S4 community $300 valves without at least SOME testing. We're not talking about R/C cars, these are $42k sophisticated machines. Simply tacking on a part without reasonable testing is foolish to start with IMHO but to SELL that part as "the cure" is...uuuuhhhh bad m'kay.

...because I'm still a fan of the piston design, and the fact that I don't think it will start to fail like a diaphragm design might.
I think it's a given that small-market aftermarket performance manufacturers are not going to have all the kinks ironed out in their design of every product before releasing it, and I'm willing to accept that.

You would be very pissed, right?
Come on Lance, be realistic.
It is flat out wrong, to release a critical engine part before extensive testing is done. Blue spring, green spring, wrong O-rings, and now a different piston? Puleese. These valves are for ****.
I only feel sorry for Strat, for having to deal with this unfortunate situation.
