I searched "Service Reminder Light" and still could not find the procedure...

what I did, just take it to jiffy lube or one of those places that do oil and just ask nicely if they could help you out. I had the same problem, and figured if they do service for a living they must know what to do. it worked
they helped me out free of charge and no more service light.

Make sure the car is off, with your left hand push down the trip reset button and the clock button at the same time then turn the key to the on position. You should see the service light pop up and say service in 10000.
