Default Make friends with somebody with a VAG-COM

other than that, I have no idea; I didn't get an owners manual when I bought mine either

Default I got it!

Hold both buttons in and turn on the ignition and keep holding until you see next "service in 10000 miles"

Thats what worked for me.

Default Perfect...

I was hoping to figure this out in the next 100 miles cause I HATE seeing the service lights on my dash knowing that I just did the service!

Default the best way :)

what I did, just take it to jiffy lube or one of those places that do oil and just ask nicely if they could help you out. I had the same problem, and figured if they do service for a living they must know what to do. it worked they helped me out free of charge and no more service light.

Try this search:
http://www.planetvag.com/index.asp?c...reminder+reset

Also:
ttp://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/B5/..._Procedure.pdf

For the C5 (might work):
http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/C5...vice_Reset.pdf

Cheers

Default Here's how I did it 30 minutes ago

Make sure the car is off, with your left hand push down the trip reset button and the clock button at the same time then turn the key to the on position. You should see the service light pop up and say service in 10000.
