I think my motion sensor is broke.
Before the accident. I one time hit the motion sensor disable button but from what i understand, the next time you drive and lock the car it will be alarmed again with the motion sensor. But now i alarm the car and just wave my hands around it doesnt set off the alarm at all. I waited a few min and still nothing. I even go out, alarmed it and stuck my hand in the open window alot . Nothing. I felt dumb showing off the motion sensor to my friends.

ah good because you said you hit the curb at 35mph and...
Chengs car had something like $5000 of undercarriage damage when I did that. Glad it's purely cosmetic...car tracks straight and doesn't make any strange noises or anything?

The motion sensor spends the first minute calibrating.
It will not go off in the first minute. To test, arm the alarm and wait for a minute. Then stick your arm in and wave around. Note that if you wave your arm in prior to the one minute being over, the alarm may calibrate itself to ignore arm movement...

"Tapped" as in bumped, hit, rammed?....
Was there an accident? Your fault? Was it you getting use to the S4's lunging thrust, only a car was in front of you? Don't mean to be nosey, I am just curious.
