Default I took the cam lock bar off to replace the cam seals and the passenger side cam turned (violently) a

little less than a quarter turn. It seems to me that the violent tuning was the cam lobes closing a valve(s)which would not be bad.

Does anyone know if a valve could have been bent from a 3/16 turn of the cam with the crank locked at top dead center?

Default same thing happened to me but I'm paranoid. Think it was middle cylinder exhausts . . I'll go check

yep. Did a compression test and my paranoid brain told me exhaust valves bent.

Default Anything you could find would be great. I would much rather replace a bent valve while my

engine is out instead of finding out after it's all back together. Hopefully it's nothing.

Default I think so. But I had a lot invested and didn't want to take any chances, so I just replaced it.

do a compression test.

They may unbend when the heat comes on next start.

I don't thing you'll bend a valve when the cam turns on spring force alone. I've done it. No probs.
