I want to add a 10'' subwoofer to my car but I dont want to change the head unit or the stock

interior speakers. What is the best way to go about this? or should I just re-do the whole system.

that way you get high quality output - without buying extra stuff. don't bother using the high level outputs to the stock speakers and stepping that down to your amp - the quality will be crap. stfa for the amp wiring diagram. its a diy job.

hook up a separate amp.
Wire the remote to your fuel pump; or something else that turns on with your ignition and turns off with it as well.
That would be one of the better ways, else you can just tap off the 2 rear deck subs ( i disconnected mine). Used an adapter to turn line in into RCA.
Looked like so in the last car

i moved this setup into my new car.
