I was wondering what the offset is for the S4, I

have searched the archives but I get different numbers from 35 to 40 does it vary from rim to rim? what I need to know is if an 18x8.5 with a 35mm offset will fit. thanks in advance

The offset of the S4 stock rim is +45, or 45mm to the plus side of the rim from center(outside of wheel). As far as what the proper offset is for an 8.5" wide rim varys depending on the rims design. Your best bet is to contact a knowledgeable wheel installer. Make sure it's for an S4 because the big fitment problem on this car is the huge front brakes.

some wheels have the proper offset but, not enough brake clearance for the S4 do to their design. I would be happy to help if I have the info on the wheel. What bran and model ? You can always do a test fit.
