Default I would like your guys opinion about a Koni shock application more.....

I found a deal today from an internet dealer on Koni shocks for the S4 $399 brand new! They assured me they would work fine on my 98 2.8Q A4, however I noticed the part numbers on the Koni website are different for the S4 and A4.

The S4 weights 275 more lbs than my car, but the 1.8T and the 2.8 take the same shock and there is a weight difference of about the same there to.

Anyone familiar with these suspensions and have an opinion on whether I should try to install them or send them back?

Thanks allot.

Default You may want to be sure you didn't get the specially valved set for the

MTM springs. Also, I thought they were selling for $499?

Check Koni website. They don't make shocks for the S4. You probly got the one for the A4.

Um, except for all of us who have them. They're A4-fit, S4-valved.
