ABT has this kind of relationship in Europe with Audi IIRC

Default I've heard the same thing, but the european market is willing to give up some for performance.

I guess general concesus is that the us market is not... Look how small this crowd is....

Here is just an example, as vague as it may be.... My local VW dealership tried to do something different... they took a brand new GTi VR6 and had a Konigseder widebody kit installed on it... cost ~$4500 retail... they than wrapped this into the price of the car... finacing and all... the car was also equipped with BBS wheels and a nice exhuast... they were offereing full warrinty on everything but the aftermarket paint.... it took them 4 months to sell it.... People were just scared or hesitant to buy a changed car and that was a stock motor...

Default I agree with that, Abt is def. close with VAG. Can't some Abt cars be bought at dealers in europe?

Look at the DTM series, The TT R was an Abt creation, with Audi factory support

Default FYI: And you can buy a new full APR Stage 3 S4 with warranty at some US Audi Dealers

if 2.7T S4s were still sold. Nonetheless, you can buy any APR product through some Audi Dealers and have those parts as part of the car's financing and warranty.
