Default So modifying the compressor and exhaust housings and bolting them ..

to the K04 CHRA would not be worth it? Im trying to get more reliability and descent horsepower without spending an extra 1,600 dollars. My turbos on my car are bound to go out one day so I want to be prepared for that. I just do not have the money to throw at the car. When the time comes I will replace the turbos myself to save money but other than reducing the thickness of the housings a little I do not see the difference from using Borg Warner K04 housings with machined K03 housings or buying straight Ko4s.

Reliable or does it make the housings too thin?

Default decent .. i'd do it for a budget build .

gotta check the housings well , as sometime they crack between the WG and turbine .
350w would be pushing them ,but ~320 would be good.. running them at 19-20psi
