If I order Kinesis or HRE wheels & I want to fit 245/35/18s, what offset do I need to order?

use spacers to "fine tune" the fitment or should I go 38mm offset? That way I could avoid the "they don't fit" potential.
If I'm at 38mm in front w/ 245s are they going to stick out of the fender well (given that you're at 40mm w/ 255s and they look perfect).
I really appreciate your advice and experience and I understand "this is all at my own risk" ;-)
THANKS!!!

The main reason why Fikse didn't design the wheel centers to have the correct offset is because they did not want to create a new mold/CNC program. They use the exact same FM-5 center on every wheel, and adjust the offsets with the varying rim halves (it's a 3 piece wheel).
What wheel width are you are looking at? If you're running 245's, I'd suggest 8.5". Also, what 245/35/18 tire do you plan on running? I think they only tire available in that size are PZeros.
Anyway, I guess if HRE or Kinesis will make 45mm offset wheels for you, that would probably be easier. I HIGHLY suggest telling them what you plan to do with the spacers and what not. Make sure they understand that you need the wheel to fit the car and clear the calipers if they are used with an offset as high at 40mm (whether that be with spacers or not). If they think they have to build a 45mm offset wheel for you and clear the calipers at that offset, they're gonna have a lot of trouble.<p>Corey S

225/40/18(kumho) front on a 18x7.5 niche pultec and 255/35/18 rear(kumho) on 18x8.5 niche pultec...i also have my front fenders rolled with H&R race springs/stock shocks and neuspeed 22mm swaybar, the car handles incredible and looks very aggressive with the wider rear wheels and tires...on a side note it also helps with weight transfer on my drag launches as the rear tires have more cross section and theoretically less slip..i wanted to keep the fronts with a narrower tire to lessen frictional loss at the big end of the track!!!i love it and thanks to CoreyS and dave schotz for the tips on these tires!!!awesome quality for the price
