This is probably common sense for most but for the rest, it's nice to know.
<b>Bad Clamp Example</b>

I'd probably think about checking all your hoses for leaks and replace them with clamps that are completely smooth. The teeth in the clamps above literally eat the hose away as you are tightening it. After some time, the cuts get deeper and eventually cause them to fail.
You are probably going to have to actually take the clamp off and inspect the underside of the hose b/c that's where the tearing tends to occur.
<b>Good Clamp Example</b>
<img src="http://shop.knfilters.com/KNShop/Images/ProductImages/Fullsize/084061.jpg">
Notice how this clamp is completely smooth and won't eat away at the hose. This is a much better long term hose clamp for your S b/c learning the hard way sux. 8^)
I hope this at least helps a couple people. If anyone else has any helpful knowledge to add, it would be appreciated.

reading this forum, that we overtighten everything. I use the crimp clamps from McMaster, they are a pain, but I like the OEM look.
Never was a fan of those clamps, horrible design IMO, there are similar clamps but smooth on the bottom.
