Default Ignition Coil / Coil Pack Replacement

I need to replace all of my coil packs, does anyone know a good place to get all 6 for under $150? I don't know much about credible manufactures in this market except for Beru. Any recommendations, advise, suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Do used OEM coil packs work? They can be had for $15-25 a peice shipped these days.

Anything used MAY work, but I refuse to go that route. Brand new is my only option. I'm just searching for a deal. $45 a piece is the best I've found so far, but multiply by 6 and I have a costly repair ahead of me. Some websites have the 6 pack, but not for an 01' S4 of course.

Alright, I figured I would toss that out since there are lots of places that offer warrentees on the used parts. Beru is the OEM provider, and there are also STI coil packs that i have seen aswell.

There is a third option that I've heard of sold in 6 packs but they are "performance aftermarket" and priced at $1300 for the set.

...and your time is definitely appreciated my friend! I figure that with this car, might as well do it right the first time given how much a pain in the a*s it is to access them. Do you trust the STI's, or does anyone else know anything about them?

Haven't heard any thing about the STI packs. Just that davenew (IIRC) had one on his engine before he started doing his tear down for his GT turbo build.

I just talked with my buddy who is a certified audi-vw mechanic(Dub Werks in Libertyville, IL)and he says the STI Coil Packs are hit or miss. I was referred to a place called Northside Imports out of Lincolnwood, IL, and they have the 6 set for $320, which for brand new is by far the cheapest I've found thus far, a long way from $150, but my baby needs the best! Thanks again brutha!
