Say i'm running super rich (11:1) and the mixture is causing the flame on my spark plugs to go out under high boost, would running a hotter range spark plug help?
any advice would be appreciated.

as hotter plugs raise the risk of predetonation in high compression engines. From what I have read, you want a hotter, open spark for rich high boost applications, thus you want a larger gap and higher energy spark to jump that gap. This is the reason why platinum plugs aren't usually recommended for high boost applications - they don't conduct the higher voltages as readily as the older style copper core plugs with larger diameter tips.
Hopefully someone else will jump in on this thread - I'm no expert, but the first reply is usually a catalyst to these type of questions, so I'm doing what I can to help you. Hope it works!
