awww you wimp...so what if it's a "class 3 explosive device" hang a boost gauge to it and...
if you have an accident the last thing to go through your mind WILL be that gauge.

The airbag is going to blow up from the top down
and not from the bottom up. I really dont forsee this as a problem as the airbag sits in the upper portion of the A-pillar far above where the gauge pod sits. You should take a look at behind your A-pillar to see what is really going on, plus an A-pillar boost gauge looks better and is not blocking any instrumentation.
