Default Only get the warranty if it is through Audi (ie, Certified Pre-Owned)

Audi's warranty is worth the $ and will cover anything reasonable.

Very few aftermarket warranties will cover much on these cars. You'd be surprised by what they consider to be wear items (ie, CV joints and steering racks). These companies make money by paying out less than you pay in. Audi makes money by keeping you loyal.

apparently this warranty covers turbos, all electrical, tranny, etc. with OEM parts. The guy at the dealership said I can go to Audi for work and they will just call and cover it. I know I need to do a bit more research but I don't have the brochure in front of me.

Default Buy it... it's the best $2900 I have spent so far- ->

I have a Fidelity Warranty, aka JM&A, purchased through the dealer when my OE warranty expired.

So far they have covered...

- Two ABS Module/pump combinations
- Charcoal Cannister & EVAP leak repair
- Water pump
- Motor pull with Rear main seal, head and valve cover gaskets, motor and tranny mounts, plugs etc
- Aux water pump
- instrument cluster

Need I keep going? There is plenty more...

Rental car, labor costs yadda yadda...

If you can do all the work yourself, MAYBE a case can be made for skipping the warranty...

Default Quality Guard Plus is the warranty provider...any thoughts?

The warranty is through Quality Guard Plus (qualityguardplus . com) It's backed by Nissan / Infiniti and now I'm hearing that because the car is technically 5 model yrs old that I can only get the 36/36 for $1604. I think there is $100 deductible
