Im getting EGT sensor DTC. Any one what they mean?

Default Im getting EGT sensor DTC. Any one what they mean?

Are the sensors going bad?

17865 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 2 (G236): Open or Short to Plus

17867 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1: Implausible Signal

yes, you need to replace both sensors

Default i had the same DTC's you do...

the only thing that fixed it was replacing BOTH the sensors. Dealer tried replacing one, and when it didnt fix the problem tried blaming it on my catback exhaust of all things. They eventually replaced both sensors and the problem was fixed. A faulty sensor or sensors will eventually lead to performance problems.
