Since you mentioned a future rear brake upgrade may be in the works, my comments will address that issue as well.

SunnyS4 is running the Mov'it front and rear setup which I installed for him. He's pretty happy with them so far, running Textar pads on the street and Pagid Orange on the track. But the rear brakes were incredibly hard to install. Just thinking about what we (Sunny helped) had to do to put those on makes me want to go grab a few beers. It required installing a new set of machined hub/bearing/knuckle/arm asemblies so that the parking brake bracket could be mounted. The next set would be easier, of course, but still a daunting job. In particular, I hated the parking brake setup which required you to reroute the driver's side parking brake cable so it ran over the top of the control arm. There's no excuse for not having a different left and right parking brake assembly. Grrrr.

I think others have addressed the lockup issue in braking while turning and am convinced it is not unique to StopTech.
Before you upgrade to StopTech brakes, you are going to have to decide if you want the rear brakes or not and then do it all at once. This is because the front StopTech brakes are different between the 2-wheel and 4-wheel versions. StopTech engineered the front calipers for proper bias and pedal feel when using the 4-piston rear calipers and retaiing the stock master cylinder. They recently completed final testing on this kit and the engineers are pleased as punch about the results. They feel they've got a winner with this kit and that the braking performance is as close to perfect as possible. No compromises here to market a kit that feels like it has more initial "bite" but actually has longer stopping distances. This one works.
As an installer, I can't wait to get my hands on one of these. That's because they have engineered an excellent billet rear parking brake assembly and bracket that bolts on WITHOUT requiring that the hub/knuckle be replaced. As a result, the parking brake cables remain in the stock positions and the rear kit is a simple bolt-on. This should greatly reduce your installation cost or, if you do it yourself, it will preserve your sanity. And it makes it easier to take the kit off if you ever decide to sell it. If Sunny calls me up to tell me he's selling his S4 and wants the rear Mov'it brakes off, I'm going to pretend I don't know him. :-)

Not knocking the other brands, Not dissing' stoptechs, or the Movit kits (which I think are pretty damned cool). I just think that most of us are only gonna buy one set of aftermarket brakes for our Audi, SO......Go with the most proven company.

First of all...there is no chatter...you've clearly not had much first hand experience with ST brakes.
Secondly...you are MORE than welcome to use inferior Brembo replacement rotors with the ST kits if you like...they will fit and operate perfectly...save running hotter than the ST parts would and costing you more money in the process...suit yourself.
With regards to application specificity ST spend a TREMENDOUS amount of time getting these kits properly balanced. Yes they have one caliper...well actually 3 now if you want to nit pick ST-60 (6 Piston opposed) ST-40 (4 Piston opposed) and ST-20 (2 piston slider). These calipers...the ST-40 in specific will hold ANY of 12 different piston sizes to suit the application they're designing for, they are not one size fits all. Call them up and ask Bob Lee if it would be ok for you to come out and watch them test the next time they rent the airstrip at camarillo airport for the day to test brakes, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to host you. Your comments obviously came from an uninformed point of view regarding the ST offerings...I'm only trying to help you out by providing you ACCURATE information. Do not allow yourself to be brainwashed by Brembo to think that just because they're on top they're the best...even when you're good you have to muscle your way to the top for rank and it takes time. ST is on its way up offering excellent brakes, patented technology and better rotors than any of Brembos cast iron offerings. If you like to pay more for less then buy the Brembo...I got some Hanes T-Shirts around here I can sew some Gucci tags in for you if you'd like too...$10 T-Shirt will now cost you $50 bux...none for me thanks.

the rotor hat making a bit of a mess. That really could happen on just about any kit, esp if the pad backing plate is a bit oversized. I asked ST and they said they've not seen this yet on the A4/S4 kits but that doesn't mean it can't happen...the moment you say that it's sure to happen ;-)
