The RNS-E is so much better in so many ways it's not even in the same ballpark...
Hmmm lets see...
RNS-E has
- Bigger screen
- SD Cards slots (2)
- Self contained NAV (it's own antenna, doesn't have to use the factory)
- DVD based NAV
- XM/Sirius compatible
- Bluetooth ready
...etc...
And yes I've owned both.

like others said..its an RNS-D, but not all models fit the B5 platform
make sure you get the correct one or it will not fit. I think the B5 ones start with 4B0 ..but check the <a href="http://www.navplus.us">www.navplus.us</a> forum to be sure...
