the bmw "tower" thingy museum, offices was ok, but the porsche factory tour, museum, and test drive is awesome - don't miss it if you can help it. The test drive is only for those doing european delivery but because my bro-in-laws fam is on their 9th "new car purchase" Porsche, they were able to get us included. Lunch, test drive with a factory driver. I did mine in a euro spec (at the time that was the only one) GT3 (1999 or 2000) can't remember when I was there, maybe 2001???
Anyway, not sure if it's changed but audi was gift shop/factory tour. I would get the number over there because factory tours are cancelled sometimes due to re-tooling for new vehicles, etc.
good luck, have fun. Hows the euro install going?

Go on the A8 tour in Nurnberg instead. You don't have the Museum but you actually get to go into the factory and see how the cars are built. The S and RS cars are also built there so you get to see some cool stuff. Don't waist your time at BMW it is old and unimpressive, ( and I like BMWs ).

yes, it is very interesting to see what these guys do, and the explanations of the technology in the cars and the fabrication technologies are great. At least in German. Their English is the Bavarian version, sounds very weird.
