Looking at this, I guess the resale value of our S4s isn't so bad.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1853700972</a

Not brand new. One year old. Think of resale value. The leftover should be discounted more

Default I don't think anybody paid MSRP for S8. Great car as it is, it did not do well sales wise

$5-7K discounts were common.2001 leftover cars should be discounted more.

I think he means "brand new" as in never titled ... not pre-owned or used.

I know. My point is that even never titled 2001 for $64K is not a great deal by any means

Default Gotcha ... so, in other words, $64k isn't a great price for an '01 S8, let alone a "new" one.

: )

Default it's all aluminum

AoA keeps saying that the next gen. A6 will be all aluminum also, and as of now, there are only like 14 certified body shops in the states that can work on the car. I had a '97 A8 that got hit - had to replace the rear quarter, trunk lid, refinish the rim, and replace the rear window, took 4 months, and the total bill to the insurance company was just north of $12,000.....
