Imobilizer qustion when swaping motors ecu's A4 to S4

Default Imobilizer qustion when swaping motors ecu's A4 to S4

So those of you that have seen my post about my s4 swap into an a4. I finally got to the point where im tryin to start it but now all of the sudden the fuel pump isn't kick'in on. I know it was working before because I accidently turned the key while the fuel lines were not connected. My question is now that I swapped a new ecu/engine do I need to swap the s4 igntion because one or the other might have a imobilizer? I thought it was only in B6+ but I dont understand why the fuel pump is not working all of the sudden. I swap'd the s4 cluster in and no luck. Anyone have any imput?

b5s4 does not have immo.

anyone know why the fuel pump dosn't kick on now after swaping engine/ecu only?

uhhhh swap the whole harness? shrugz....

yeah far as i know, a4 did not get immob. untill 2002
